SSL24 Football Ambiences – Calderon
Surround Sound LAB is proud to present our second ambisonic library decoded and mixed in Dolby ATMOS.
We recorded the last two football matches of Atletico de Madrid last year in our historical stadium, Vicente Calderon. we are including both matches in ambisonic format, 48Khz and 24 bits HD. As always, top quality recordings specially designed for film audio projects.
The result of the recordings are rich Ambisonic recordings of 50.000 people singing and enjoying the last days of the stadium. The football matches were against Eibar Football Club and Atletico de Bilbao Football Club, both the last two games of Spanish La Liga 2016/17 season.

We have decoded all the First Order Ambisonic recordings with HarpeX plugin into 7.1.2 Dolby ATMOS bed configuration, using the top channel to create totally outstanding ambiences tracks ready to use!
We want to let you know that Surround Sound LAB. new releases will be in Ambisonic format. This way you will be able to decode it from mono to Atmos systems! Also its important to think in ambisonics as the way to go for VR, and we are ready for it!

Download the free SoundField SurroundZone 2 plugin and convert the included B-format files into your preferred format (stereo, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, 6.1, 7.0 or 7.1 surround).
Ambisonic tracks are ambiX format. Please take this into consideration when converting in FUMA decoders as soundfield one. Please use free tools to change between ambiX and FUMA like AmbiConverter from Noise Makers team.
Note: The library also contains ready-made 5.1 & ST mixdowns for your convenience.
The B-format components can be combined to derive virtual microphones with any first-order polar pattern (omnidirectional, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-of-eight or anything in between) pointing in any direction. Several such microphones with different parameters can be derived at the same time, to create coincident stereo pairs (such as a Blumlein) or surround arrays (5.1, 7.1, Dolby Atmos and other surround systems.).
Ambisonics allows you to transcode the B-format files into a a lot of formats, (by using the free SoundField SurroundZone 2 plugin, the amazing Harpex B Converter or the NoiseMakers tools) – including stereo, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, 6.1, 7.0 or 7.1 surround and higher immersive formats!.
ambiX First Order Ambisonic, Dolby ATMOS 7.12, 5.1 and ST files have been mastered with Pro Tools HD 2018 system, included in the package.
